The Fiat 128 is back

The Egyptian version of the Zastava 128 GLS is back and available for sale. The Car of the year 1969 is back in production in 2005. Well, actually it is almost 2006 by now.

But you know, the 128 deserves our respect. She was so useful to so many people. And probably still useful to many today. For almost 30 years (or more?), this car was the hallmark of the Egyptian streets.

I once saw a 128 in the Netherlands while I was in transit going back home from Canada. I was 16 years old at the time and I was home sick after 40 days in North America. But seeing the 128 suddenly made me feel closer to home.

UPDATE: I heared that the price of the 2006 model is around 35,000 EGP
